3 Different Ways To Update Your Wardrobe This Weekend

leggings with shirtDon’t hide behind jeans as usual but wear something that will put a bounce in your step this weekend.  When you’re shopping do you pass on dresses you love but feel are too short for you.  Try a tunic or shirtdress style with a pair of leggings.  Add a pair of flat-heeled boots, ballet slippers or the new wedge-style boot.  You will be so happy with the overall look.

Or, since one of the biggest trends is colored jeans, why not try a pair of red jeans with a balky knit sweater or a fitted jacket when you attend your Sunday brunch.  If red isn’t your first choice, try emerald green or cobalt blue jeans instead.  Or pair a black jean with a brightly patterned top.  Or add a vividly colored purse and/or statement necklace to your outfit.

If it’s cool and you need a wrap, try a cape or poncho instead of the same old jacket.  Pair with boot top jeans and ankle boots.  You can find them in a variety of textures and styles.  Very sophisticated and definitely a step above the norm.

One last style you should definitely consider is the wedge ankle booties that were mentioned above.  If you find heels uncomfortable but miss the height they give you, these are the footwear for you.  They are so comfortable and give you that bit of heel which is so slimming.

All eyes will be on you when you make your stylish entrance.
